Notice on the application of excellent postdoctoral fellows in 2020

To strengthen the construction of high-level talent team, attract more outstanding post-doctoral to study in our school, award postdoctoral researchers that have made outstanding achievements, in combination with the practical situation of our university postdoctoral work, according to the measures for the implementation of the Henan University postdoctoral management, Henan University decided to hold the selection of outstanding postdoctors in 2020.

I. Selection objects:

As of December 31, 2020, post-doctoral fellows who have been in the station for more than one year or have been out of the station for less than one year. The one who have won this selection shall not apply again.

II. Conditions for Declaration:

Applicants who have good moral character, high academic level and strong scientific research ability and meet one of the following conditions may apply for the selection:

1. National scientific research project funding during the station;

2. Supported by China Postdoctoral Science Foundation;

3. As the first author (Henan University is the first author unit), publish more than 2 papers in the authoritative journals of this major;

4. Have high academic attainments and outstanding research ability, and make outstanding contributions to the construction of this discipline.

III. Selection procedures:

1. The applicant should fill in the Excellent Post-doctoral Declaration Form of Henan University (Appendix 1), and provide the relevant award certificate and the appraisal materials of scientific research results (in duplicate).

2. The station unit or the post-doctoral training unit shall evaluate the applicants and determine the recommended candidates (generally no more than 2 candidates recommended by each unit), and send the electronic version of the application materials to hdbhb@henu.edu.cn before January 8, 2021.

3. The school shall organize experts to evaluate the recommended candidates.

4. Publicize the selected candidates.

5. After there is no objection from the public, the name list of the candidates will be officially announced. The university will issue the certificate of "Excellent postdoctoral fellow of Henan University", and give 10,000 yuan as reward, as well as corresponding reward to its cooperative tutor.

IV. Relevant Requirements:

The applicant shall fill in the application materials carefully to ensure that the information filled in is true and accurate. All units shall seriously organize the application work and do a good job in reviewing and summarizing the results information. The post-Doctoral office will not accept the application materials that do not meet the requirements.
