From January 2nd to 5th, in order to further promote the learning and education activities of “two studies and one practice” and earnestly study and implement the spirit of the Party's report on the Nineteenth Congress, the party committee of the Department of Chemistry organized all the faculty Party members and student party members to carry out series of activities and earnestly studied the spirit of Deputy Secretary of the school party committee Lei Ting’s speech “Thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of the 19th National Congress, conscientiously strengthen the construction of cadre team and grass-roots organization” .
On January 2nd, our College Party Committee timely printed and published Lei Ting’s speech spirit through the college bulletin board, WeChat Group of the party branches and party members and WeChat public platform. All party members are required to understand and find out the spirit of the 19th National Congress according to their positions and work practices, and carry out a series of solid and effective study and education activities.
On the morning of January 3rd, our college held a special meeting of leading groups. Fang Meng, the party secretary of the college, led all team members to convey and earnestly study the spirit of Lei Ting’s speech. The first is that all the team members should earnestly enhance their ideological awareness and action awareness in studying and implementing the spirit of the Party's report on the Nineteenth Congress. The second is to deeply understand the essence of the Party’s spirit, and fully comprehend its basic content and accurately focus on “the eight new”—new topics, new achievements, new eras, new ideas, new contradictions, new goals, new deployments, and new aims. The third is to comprehensively strengthen the construction of cadre team and working style according to our school’s “Double Tops” construction. All Party members and cadres must work harder with a higher level, stronger ability and a better mental state, and strive to be faithful, neat and responsible. To feasibly strengthen the style of construction, the party members and cadres must take the lead and consciously abide by the political discipline, organizational discipline, work discipline, mass discipline, honest discipline, and life discipline. The fourth is to continuously strengthen the construction of grass-roots party organization and play the exemplary role of faculty and student party members.
On the morning of January 4th, our college held a special meeting for the student party branch to study the speech spirit of Secretary Lei. Wang Lujuan, student party branch secretary, led all party members and students to seriously study and understand the spirit of Secretary Lei's speech. According to the characteristics of different grades of student party branches and their actual conditions of study and work, she interpreted the essence of the spirit of the 19th National Congress, such as “remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind” and “the Two Centenary Goals”. At the meeting, according to their experience on preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination and their experience as an intern, together with their understanding of the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the students and Secrtary Wang Lujuan have exchanged their ideas on the spirit of“Red Boat”in Nanhu and President Xi’s seven years of educated youth in Liang Jiahe. With a warm atmosphere, students all spoke out freely and said that they would dedicate themselves in achieving personal ambitions and social ideals.
On the afternoon of January 4th, our college held a meeting of all faculty members. Fang Meng asked all party branches to seriously study the spirit of Secretary Lei's speech, and required that all the party members of teachers and students should combine the spirit of the 19th National Congress with their own work. They should thoroughly understand and implement the spirit of Secretary Lei's speech, and make contributions with their work performance to promote the establishment of the top discipline university and the rejuvenation of the century-old prestigious school.
